Uri Korean is a Korean language institute based in the Netherlands where foreigners can learn the Korean language and culture.
For this website project, I undertook a comprehensive approach, spanning from thorough target audience research to the conceptualization, design, and development phases.
The branding strategy was meticulously crafted to evoke a friendly and educational vibe, which I successfully translated into the design elements. To achieve this, I opted for a rounded sans-serif font and incorporated subtle yet inviting animations, ensuring a seamless digestion of information for the consumer.
Throughout the project, I leveraged a range of software tools to optimize efficiency and deliver the best possible outcome. Within the Adobe Suite, I utilized Adobe Illustrator to craft a logo that embodies the brand's essence—friendly, legible, and approachable. Furthermore, I employed Adobe After Effects to produce captivating looping animations, enriching the user experience.
One notable feature on the desktop version's homepage of the website, is the interactive cartoon representation of the client, where I implemented a dynamic element wherein the character's eyes track the movement of the cursor. While this effect could have been achieved directly within Webflow, I opted to streamline the process by utilizing Rive, a tool that offered a more efficient workflow without compromising the desired outcome.
Overall, my approach to this project was marked by a commitment to professionalism, creativity, and efficiency, resulting in a cohesive and engaging branding experience tailored to the client's objectives.
